What a great day. My goal today is to finish a basic layout for my webpage so I can finally transfer over from blogger. Here's to hoping! I really want to do it on my own without paying anyone for their (much needed) services. Here's to being stubborn! Have a good Saturday everyone.

Jacques is currently featured in a wonderful treasury right now! It was made by FogAndThistle, who has amazing paper creations at her Etsy store. The treasury is entitled 'Clash of the Titans'. They're apparently remaking the 1981 version in the next few years! That's pretty exciting - it also makes me want to rent the old one. I wouldn't want Jacques getting any ideas, though...

Xavier the Extraordinary Giant Octopus was also featured on a treasury! Which has since expired. BUT. Was also featured on the front page!! Absolutely thrilling & somewhat appropriate since it also happened to be my birthday ;] I'm still looking for a screen-cap of it somewhere.

Happy Holidays! I found my holiday season to be filled to the brim with yummy food. I had two friends staying with me who are most gourmet, so my tastebuds were never bored. & in the interim between now & New Year's, I plan on trying to finish up a lot of halfway constructed plush. I want to transform them from a zombie gang into a happy plush army.

Parting Ways...

Now that I've had two sales (*whee*), I am very conscious of the parting process when I package up one of my creations. I tend to get very attached to the things I make. However, I know they are headed towards loving homes - which makes me excited for their new friends/owners.

I have given two goodbye talks so far. Which may make me sound crazy, but I want them to know they'll be unwrapped out of their packaging soon & to not give up hope.

Yes, yes - I'm corny. But I can't help it - ever since I was a girl, plush & stuffed animals have held a very special place to me. They all have distinct personalities, y'know...

I made my first sale! & to a dear friend, which makes it all the more worthwhile. I'm pretty thrilled about it, & I know H. will give Cat Tooth a good home. She has also sparked off a new creative spree, so I can thank her twice over ;]

We're getting *a lot* of snow over the next 24 hours, so I plan to visit the library, sew sew sew & drink more tea. & tonight going to a holiday party! One with lots of yummy veggie food + good company.

Whew, today the inspiration machine was broken! I had two tries at creation & each of them crumbled. I really wanted to add something else to the shop, too. I guess I still have an hour or two left in me before I collapse in bed with a good book.

I guess it's just one of those days. Tomorrow will hopefully be better.
